Welcome to the fifth edition of the ChristianEvents.co.uk Newsletter in 2005.

Dare I say that Spring has finally arrived! And Easter just ahead too!

Well we've finally completed the merger of ChristianEvent.info with ChristianEvents.co.uk and already over 60 artists/promoters have registered to post events on the site! The vast majority of the major conferences and festivals are now listed but if you notice any missing please drop us an email (info@christianevents.co.uk) and we'll get in touch with the organiser. Thanks!

The main sponsors of this week's newsletter are the two largest and - in my personal opinion - best Christian Singles sites on the web: Christian Cafe and eHarmony. With tens of thousands of new subscribers to eHarmony and Christian Cafe each month there is no shortage of new people to meet. So how do the two sites compare?

eHarmony does the initial matching for you based on your personality profile (you'll need to give yourself a couple of hours to fill this in ... it's loooong). They promise more successful matches than any other site but be prepared to meet a lot of our American cousins (you can specify Brits-only, but as eharmony is fairly new to these shores you will be limiting the pool of people you could meet).

With ChristianCafe you are in complete control of who you want to write to. You can carry out searches based on criteria which are important to you, for example: How important their faith is in their life?

Both sites offer a trial so it comes down to personal preference. The ongoing cost is £130/year for eHarmony and £55/year for Christian Cafe.

Hints on using the sites: As your mother always said ... be yourself! Be sensitive to others. And have fun with it! :)

Event Highlight...

geTogether and Club-Unity

Following a successful first event for Christian singles last December, Debbie and Abi - the girls behind geTogether - have arranged their next event for Saturday, May 7th, at the Evangelist Bar in London. An evening of a 3 course meal (soft drinks included), speed dating and dance till 2am will be £25. You can register at www.getogether.co.uk

Both geTogether and Club-Unity are very welcome additions to the Christian social scene in London. And going by the incredible feedback they both received when they were featured on Revelation TV - they're much needed too!
